"Happy Feet" Taps Into Maryland Science Center
Animated adventure comes to the giant IMAX screen in time for the holiday season

Opening December 22, 2006 at the Maryland Science Center's St. John Properties IMAX Theater is "Happy Feet," the hit film from Warner Bros. Pictures, which has been digitally re-mastered for The IMAX Experience®.

HAPPY FEET: THE IMAX EXPERIENCE is a comedy adventure set in the land of the Emperor Penguins in the heart of Antarctica. These penguins sing, each needing their own special song to attract a soul mate. Unfortunately, hour hero Mumble (ELIJAH WOOD), son of Memphis (HUGH JACKMAN) and Norma Jean (NICOLE KIDMAN), is the worst singer in the world - but he can tap dance something fierce!

HAPPY FEET: THE IMAX EXPERIENCE is the 12th IMAX DMR film release from Warner Bros. Pictures. The IMAX Experience, featuring the large 15/70 film frame, combined with IMAX projection technology and remarkable sound system, provides a unique and extraordinary movie-going experience. Moviegoers will become fully immersed in the IMAX presentation not only through the stunning visuals, but also with the music of Prince, The Beach Boys and other top artists filling the theater through state-of-the-art digital surround sound.

"We've gone to extreme lengths to make this movie as spectacular as possible and be true to the majestic landscapes of Antarctica and the penguins which inhabit them," says director George Miller. "There is no better place to experience the extraordinary world we have recreated then on the massive IMAX screen with its awesome picture and sound quality. We aim to immerse the audience totally."

The Maryland Science Center is located at 601 Light Street at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
