Student Discount to BODY WORLDS 2 Every Friday in March
Save on Admission to See Real Human Bodies During "College Nights"
BALTIMORE, MD –Due to overwhelming response to College Day, February 24, 2008 BODY WORLDS and the Maryland Science Center have extended the college discount offer through March. College students will receive discount admission to Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS 2: The Original Exhibition of Real Human Bodies, featuring more than 200 human bodies and specimens, every Friday in march during "College Nights" at the Maryland Science Center.
On Friday, March 7, 14, 21, and 28, from 4-9 p.m. admission to BODY WORLDS 2 is reduced to $19 (regularly $23) for students presenting a valid college ID and a special online coupon. The coupon is available from the Maryland Science Center's MySpace and Facebook pages, and can also be found on the museum's web site, www.marylandsciencecenter.org. Both a student ID and the coupon must be presented for the discount. Last admission to the exhibit on College Nights is 7 p.m.
BODY WORLDS 2 aims to educate the public about the inner workings of the human body and show the effects of poor health and lifestyle choices. At the Maryland Science Center, more than 20 whole bodies presented in unique and surprising poses, and dozens of individual organs, will offer visitors an in-depth view of the human body, focusing on wellness and disease. BODY WORLDS 2 is the largest exhibition ever on display at the Maryland Science Center, occupying more than 15,00 square feet of exhibition space. Guests can also see a human brain in The Brian: Our Three Pound Gem, which makes its East Coast debut as a special feature of the Maryland Science Center exhibition.
Regular hours for BODY WORLDS 2 are Monday-Thursday, from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. (last entry 3 p.m.)and Friday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-9p.m. (last entry 7 p.m.) Special Spring Break (March 17-30) hours the exhibit will be open Monday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (last entry time 4 p.m.) and Friday-Sunday 9 a.m.-9 p.m. (last entry time 7 p.m.)
