What is Adopt-A-Class?
The Adopt-A-Class program is sponsored by the Maryland Science Center's Corporate Sponsors and provides opportunities for corporations to help further the mission of the Maryland Science Center. They sponsor trips/educational programs to the Maryland Science Center for schools and organizations, who could not visit or participate in an educational program without this assistance. Adopt-A-Class uses a portion of the corporate sponsorship contributions to underwrite class trips and educational programs. Each corporate sponsor will be notified as to which schools or organizations it has adopted.
Who Can Apply?
Education and/or non-profit groups (ex: school groups, Head Start Programs, Boys Hope/Girls Hope etc.) are eligible to apply for Adot-A-Class funding. Each funding opportunity is limited to 30 people. Each teacher is asked to submit one application for their class.

Call the Maryland Science Center for an application; complete the application along with a statement of need on your organization's letterhead stating why you need Adopt-A-Class sponsorship and how it will benefit your group. Send the completed application and statement os need back to the maryland Science Center.
