Throughout the year the Maryland Science Center hosts special events, programs, receptions and other noteworthy gatherings. These events are always well attended and are a great way to experience the Science Center in different ways.

Two of our most popular events are our annual family-style New Year’s eve celebration and our annual fundraiser--Solstice. Periodic lectures and special screenings of films and exhibition sneak previews also take place throughout the year.
