Intern

The Maryland Science Center Internship Program allows qualified undergraduate and graduate students to fulfill internships through volunteer work. Interns gain a better understanding of a career area while experiencing the satisfaction of making an important contribution to the Maryland Science Center.

Internships are for credit or non-credit as determined by each school/course instructor. Specific internship projects and positions are offered by the Maryland Science Center; however, internship responsibilities are flexible and may be altered to match the needs of the school/course instructor.

The Maryland Science Center has opportunities for people with all interests—whether directly related to scientific disciplines or simply helping with the day-to-day operations of the building. We’re seeking help greeting school buses and greeting guests at our main entrance--assisting in our retail store or with details in our administrative offices.
