Travel the solar system and beyond—stopping off at each planet along the way to explore. Using images from the Hubble Space Telescope, this exhibit helps visitors learn how stars are born, discover what happens when galaxies collide, and peer deep into the origins of the universe. You can even make your own star!

Outer Space Place is home to the Hubble Space Telescope National Visitor Center and the remarkable images collected by this orbiting observatory are on display throughout the gallery. Learn how Hubble has helped prove the existence of black holes. See star nurseries, amazing nebula, images of red giants and white dwarfs, supernova and much more.

Stand in front of an enormous mirror—a replica of the ones Hubble uses to gather imagery and learn how light is the secret to Hubble's success!
