pi

How much do you know about Pi?

Time: Noon - 4:00 PM
Location: Maryland Science Center
Cost: Free with paid admission
Who should attend:Parents and kids of all ages
When: Sunday, March 14, 2010

Everyone loves Pi and March 14th is the day to show it. Join us for delicious treats and partake in a pie eating contest if you think you can handle it! Show off your Pi memorization skills and see who can recite the most numbers! Find out how long you can hula hoop (they are circles, after all) and enjoy pi-themed music throughout the day.

Pi Day gets even sweeter because it also happens to be Albert Einstein’s birthday. Learn what the inventor contributed to society and the role he played in making science what it is today. We’ll even sing him happy birthday! Before you leave, pick up a tasty fruit pie but don’t let it ruin your supper!

All activities are free with paid admission.
