Teachers are special at the Maryland Science Center. Teachers who visit without their school group can enter the exhibit halls free of charge when they show identification. We also offer a number of professional development opportunities for educators throughout the year.

Teacher Workshops programs offer educators a chance to discuss the latest in the field of science and take lessons back to the classroom. Teachers attending eight Teachers' Thursdays programs earn one Maryland State Department of Education Continuing Professional Development Credit.
