Part Time SpaceLink/TerraLink Presenter
If you enjoy sharing the latest in science, we have the job for you! We’re looking for an enthusiastic communicator with a background in science to join the staff of the SpaceLink and TerraLink Update Centers.
Duties
Presenters engage visitors while providing a fun overview of what’s new in the world of space and Earth sciences. They assist with school and event programming, and may entertain the public with multimedia presentations. They also deliver hands-on, minds-on “roaming science” demonstrations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and ideally two years of college level science.
- Experience working with the general public (including children).
- Familiarity with computers and audio-visual equipment.
- Weekday availability a must; some weekends and evenings possible.
